Q: Do I have to take a lot of medications for control of severe back pain? I don’t like taking all medications that make me feel goofy, and interfere with my thought process and my functioning.
A: Interventional pain procedures, when performed appropriately and precisely on carefully selected patients provide the best relief of pain to an acceptable level and also complete pain relief in most patients.. Most patients are able to do away with medications or reduce the size of dose to the point that they can function and be productive. |
